Christine Broe has been writing poetry since the 1990’s winning the inaugural Brendan Kennelly / Sunday Tribune Award in 2001 and gaining international recognition when awarded the Premio Cittá di Olbia prize in 2002. Swan Press published her debut collection Solas Sólás in 2003.
Her second collection, Lifting Light, illustrated by her own artwork, sculpture and paintings, was published in 2015.
She has worked as an Art Teacher, Arts Facilitator, and Art Therapist, has facilitated creative writing workshops, using art media as inspiration for generating work. She can be contacted at al.mandala@gmail.com Website www.christinebroe.com
Austin and Mike Durack, will present pieces from their recently released album "Going Gone" that includes poems by Mike and instrumental originals by Austin. Mike Durack was a founder member of' Killaloe Writers Group. Austin's career as singer, guitarist and composer has yielded nine albums and frequent airplay on national radio and television.

The Limerick Writers' Centre Presents The June 2015 'On The Nail' Literary Gathering Tuesday 2nd June 2015 @ The Loft Venue @ The Locke Bar, Georges Quay, Limerick. Start 8.00pm sharp! This months guests are writers Mike Gallagher and John McGrath. Mike Gallagher , writer, poet and editor, was born on Achill Island and worked in London for forty years before retiring to Kerry. His prose, poetry, haiku and songs have been published in Ireland and throughout Europe, America, Australia, Nepal, India, Thailand, Japan and Canada. His writing has been translated into Croatian, Japanese, Dutch, German and Chinese. He won the 2009 Samhlaiocht Slam, the 2010 Michael Hartnett Viva Voce competition, he was shortlisted for the Hennessy Award in 2011 and won the Desmond O'Grady International Poetry Contest in 2012.
