This months guest readers are Marian O'Rourke and Michael Durack.

Marian O'Rourke was born in Limerick and spent most of her life in North America. Her poems have been published in a variety of journals and anthologies in Ireland, England and Canada. She has read her work on WBAI (New York C...ity)and Lyric FM and has performed at poetry events in Ireland, England and The United States.
Uprooted, her first poetry book, was published by Horn Press in 2008 and Inhaling the Light by Lapwing Press in 2009. Her short stories have been accepted by Sunday Miscellany. Marian holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from The Waterford Institute of Technology. She is currently working on her third poetry collection.


Mike Durack was a founder member of’ Killaloe Writers Group. His poems have appeared in literary journals such as InCognito, The Burniv Bush, Flaming Arrows, The Cafe’ Review (Portland), Maine), The Stony Thursday Book and Poetry Ireland Review and they have aired on national and local radio. A chapbook, Nothing To Write Home About (Derg Press), was published in 1988 and A Hairy Tale Of Clare (East Clare Telecottage), a comic narrative in verse, was published in 1994.
In recent years he has been collaborating with his brother,Austin on a programme of poetry and music, and together they have produced twoalbumsT he Secret Chord (2013) and Going Gone (2015.) A memoir in prose and
poems, Saved To Memory: Lost To View, is due for publication in early 2016. Michael
now lives in Ballina, Co. Tipperary.

Start 8pm This month our guests are writers Neil Donnelly and Linda Louise Galvin. Neil Donnelly was born in Tullamore, Co Offaly. He is a playwright, poet, screenwriter and writer for radio. He was a Harvey's Award winner in 1982, writer-in-residence for Mayo County Council in 1993, and writer-in-association at the Abbey Theatre in 1994. Linda Louise Galvin is from Limerick. She began writing seven years ago by writing song lyrics, eventually focusing mainly on poetry. Her work straddles a diverse range of taboo subjects and humour. This months guests are poet Christine Breo and brothers Austin and Mike Durack. ... Christine Broe has been writing poetry since the 1990’s winning the inaugural Brendan Kennelly / Sunday Tribune Award in 2001 and gaining international recognition when awarded the Premio Cittá di Olbia prize in 2002. Swan Press published her debut collection Solas Sólás in 2003. Her second collection, Lifting Light, illustrated by her own artwork, sculpture and paintings, was published in 2015. She has worked as an Art Teacher, Arts Facilitator, and Art Therapist, has facilitated creative writing workshops, using art media as inspiration for generating work.
